Imogen Man was born in 1984 and has a reputation as an artist capable of capturing the personality of her subject with honesty and beauty.

After obtaining a diploma in Fine Art at Wimbledon Art School, Imogen studied under leading artists at courses specialising in botanical drawing and painting.
In 2003 she enrolled at Charles Cecil Studios in Florence, learning the importance of drawing and painting from life with natural light using a technique called sight size, taught by famous traditional artists. Following three years intensive training Imogen emerged with skills ranging from portraits, still life, nude and sculpture in charcoal, oils and pastels.

Imogen has an ability to capture the character of the animal, which led to great demand initially with dogs and then diversifying into horses and other animals, including her love for cows.

Since moving to London she has undertaken many commissions, including a second one for the Countryside Alliance for their 2011 Christmas card. She has drawn the mascot for The Irish Guards, the portrait of the chairman of Harrogate's Royal Hall Restoration Trust and previously exhibited in the Kennel Club Gallery and at The Bloomsbury Art Fair. Imogen exhibits widely in the United Kingdom and every year takes part in the The Decorative Antique & Textile Fair and the Affordable Art Fair in London.
